2018 Honda CRV Automatic; Honda Small SUV
2018 Honda CRV Automatic; Honda Small SUV – The fifth generation of Honda’s supremely popular Honda CRV crossover, likely based on the new platform that underpins the recently renovated Honda Civic. The new 2018 CRV is rumored to grow a little bit compared with the current model, with the possible addition of your optional third-row seat to help bridge the distance between it and the significantly larger Honda Pilot. The Honda Small SUV CRV also looks to adopt a sportier and more upscale look structured on these spy images, which show a bigger, more aggressive front grille along with a longer engine and a less minivan-like stance. The Honda CRV’s unsecured personal vertical taillights are evidently visible, and the car headlights seem like they’re taken straight from an Acura. All of us can’t see much of the crossover’s interior, but practicality and spaciousness will surely remain a top priority.
2018 Honda CRV Changes
The 2018 Honda CRV has sat on the growing compact-crossover sales heap for the previous several years, but the lead is eroding as new opponents arrive with more-advanced technology features and improved driving dynamics. The Toyota RAV4 and the Ford Escape, for illustration, are ahead of the 2018 CRV in the sales race so far in 2016. With this re-designed 2018 CRV, Honda surely will be looking to consider again its crown, with leader in class fuel-economy figures, tech attractions, interior space, and–if the new Honda Civic’s great body is any indication–driving mechanics. It’ll have to conquer the Mazda CX-5, our current favorite among small crossovers, in that respect.
Design of Honda Small SUV CR-V
The new 2018 Honda Civic’s modular chassis, which will also underpin the next-generation Honda Accord sedan. The current CR-V’s 103.1 inches wheelbase will likely develop, possibly to match the 2016 Honda Civic sedan’s 106.3 inches wheelbase. Also expect changes to the Honda Civic’s basic architecture to allow mechanicals for the all-wheel drive system that will be recommended for the 2018 CR-V.
Engine of 2018 Honda CRV Automatic; Honda Small SUV
With Honda’s push into turbocharged-technology, the Honda Civic’s new 174 horsepower 1.5-litre turbo 4 will probably be the Honda CRV’s standard engine. It may be tuned for more emphasis on low-rpm torque for use in the bulkier 2018 CR-V (the current model’s installment payments on your 4.0 litre 4-cyl makes 185 horsepower and 181 lb-feet of torque). Although the Honda Civic lineup will soon give a 6-speed MT combined with this engine, a continually variable AT (automatic) will likely be the only choice for the Honda CRV. As before, front-wheel-drive will be standard with all-wheel-drive available as an option.
2018 Honda CRV Automatic Prices
Look for the new Honda Small SUV CRV to arrive sometime in 2017 as a 2018 model. Pricing shouldn’t change much compared with the current 2018 CRV, which starts at 24,645 dollars for a FWD LX and runs up to 34,295 dollars for a loaded, CR-V 4-WD Touring model.
